Okay, real talk —
JSC has been quietly going through a full overhaul. Same name, same face, but a lot is moving behind the scenes that you'll start to see come through over the next few months. I'm not ready to pull the curtain back on all of it yet, but I wanted you to know it's coming, and Both Hands Full is a big part of it.
This newsletter is where I get to just talk. Not overthink it, not package it into something polished, just show up like I'm sitting across from you at the kitchen table. Which, if I'm being honest, is exactly where I'm writing this from.
Summer officially starts here on Friday. The construction company is in its busiest season, which means I'm managing Struble Construction on one screen and everything else on the other. It's a lot. And also, we started something big on our property this past Sunday. I'll let the photo do the talking. Drop your best guess in reply, I want to know if you can figure it out.
THIS WEEKS TIP
Find your Momentum Meeting person.
I have a standing Wednesday meeting with my friend Nicole Rate. Kids and all, no clean houses, no proper agendas, just two business owners who show up for each other every single week and work through whatever is actually happening.
We call them Momentum Meetings, and I genuinely think it's one of the most useful things I do for my business. Not because Nicole is in my industry. She's not. But because she asks the questions I'm too close to ask myself, and I do the same for her.
If you don't have a person like this, start looking. It doesn't have to be someone in your field, honestly, it's better if they're not. You just need someone who takes their work seriously, shows up consistently, and isn't afraid to tell you the truth.
One real conversation a week does more than most strategy sessions.

IN THE BLOG
Creating a Calm Home Office When You Run a Business
Nicole also recently wrote something for the JSC blog that I think you'll want to save. It's practical, it's real, and it actually gives you things you can do without turning your whole space upside down.
