I wrote this from my recovery bed | Both Hands Full

Alright friend, here's what's been happening...

Two weeks ago today I had emergency surgery. It wasn't planned. It was a complication from a hysterectomy, and it landed me flat on my back with nowhere to go and nothing to do but think.

Which, if you know me at all, is its own kind of torture.

But somewhere in that stillness, between the kids checking on me and my husband holding everything together and the business somehow still running, I kept coming back to the same thought. I want somewhere to just talk. Not perform. Not package everything into a strategy. Just connect with people who are living the same kind of full, complicated, beautiful mess that I am.

That's why I started Both Hands Full.

Not because the business needed a newsletter. Because I needed a place to be a person first and a CEO second. You're an interior designer. I work behind the scenes of interior design businesses. But underneath all of that, we're both just women trying to build something real without losing everything else in the process. The hysterectomy, the emergency surgery, the kids, the homestead, Struble Construction, all of it belongs here. That's the whole point.

I'm still recovering, both hands very much full, and I'm genuinely glad you're in this with me.
