Hey Reader,
Last week I posted a picture of us moving some serious dirt and asked you all to guess what we were doing. The responses were all over the place, which honestly made my week. We got it in the ground this weekend. It's a pool. And I will not pretend I am not a little bit giddy about it.
We are nowhere near done, but I am going to keep dropping progress pictures as it comes together, so you can follow along on the chaos. Kids and a homestead and now a pool under construction, both hands full does not even begin to cover it, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Anyway. That is what the weekend looked like. Here is what has been on my mind for the business side of things....Instagram.
THIS WEEKS TIP
Stop trying to market in all the places...
and start asking whether the places you're already showing up are actually talking to each other.
Here's what I mean. If you wrote a blog post this month, did it become a Pinterest pin? Did it feed your newsletter? Did your Instagram post this week point somewhere useful? If the answer is no to most of those, the fix isn't a new platform or a more consistent posting schedule. The fix is a thread. One piece of content that has a job, feeds the next thing, and doesn't just disappear after 24 hours.
Start with the blog. Let everything else pull from it. That one shift changes how much your content actually does for you.
